Keeping Families Close

When a child needs medical treatment, RMHC is here for their whole family

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child. By providing a comforting, supportive, and healing space for families, RMHC helps ease many day-to-day burdens so parents can focus on the most important thing—the well-being of their seriously ill or injured child.

Our Families

Everyone who has been involved with Ronald McDonald House Charities Intermountain Area has a story to tell. Here are a few of our families stories and how RMHC Intermountain Area was able to help their family stay close.

Jayline's Story

Jacky was worried when her usually joyful daughter Jayline became so sick that she didn’t want to play anymore. Doctors discovered a cancerous tumor on her kidney that had spread to other parts of her body. But Jayline is a fighter.

Rudy’s Story

When Joe and Mary took a trip to Montana two months before their baby’s due date, they had no idea it would be an early delivery. Mary’s water broke shortly after they saw Old Faithful erupt and the family was rushed, ambulance to ambulance to single engine airplane, from Montana to Salt Lake City.

Lynaela’s Story

When Lynaela was born near the end of January 2016, her mother noticed that the baby’s stomach was oddly distended. She checked with her pediatrician in the Four Corners area, but they couldn’t find a cause. On a visit to a different doctor they discovered that Lynaela was experiencing liver failure and immediately referred the family to Primary Children’s Hospital.

Make a Difference for Families & Children

Parents don’t know when their children will need medical help. But they should know they can always access the care they need. And with your help, we can support them all throughout their journey.
